Library Rules

  • Everyone using the library must follow the strict rules of silence and order.
  • When entering the library, all personal belongings and articles must be left outside. You can only enter the library with a copybook and a library book that needs to be returned.
  • There will only be one book released at a time. You can only keep a book for a week. Renewals will not be permitted.
  • It is not permitted to remove books from the library that are only meant for consultation. They are always accessible to all students.
  • Before departing the library, each student is required to turn in their borrowed books for inspection. After reading, all periodicals, reference books, and books borrowed from the library must be returned to their original locations.
  • Returning checked books to the library directly to the librarian is required. They are not to be distributed. If a student checks out too many books from the library, they risk having their privilege to do so revoked and possibly facing fines.
  • Notifying the librarian of any flaw in a book that is being borrowed is important. If this isn’t done, you could be held accountable for the flaw that was discovered when the book was returned. Any damage done to the library’s books and articles will result in fines.
  • The borrower is responsible for replacing any lost books.
  • For each late book returned, a comment will be made on the School Diary’s library page. If three such comments are made, lending books will be seized and a fine of Rs. 50/-will be assessed.
  • Books cannot be kept during a vacation
